LATEST COVID- 19 UPDATES
3rd June 2020 – The NEXT Step – Eased restrictions for Roll Ups.
The Point is taking ‘the next step’ in our Bowls at The Point during Covid-19 Restrictions. This next step includes increasing to 4 people per rink (still only 10 per green) and the invitation to visitors to participate. Visitors would need to be a member of Bowls NSW, Women’s Bowls NSW or any STA and join as a Taren Point Social Member prior to their first session.
This next step is due to the ongoing understanding and behaviour of our members who have been adhering to the original club restrictions and ensured the safety of all participants and staff at the Point.
All new participants will still need to sign a participation/registration form prior to their first session.
A big thank you to all the members who have been involved over the past few weeks and by following the rules you have helped reward everyone.
All booking information and other restrictions remain in place. We look forward to seeing you all back on the greens if we haven’t had that pleasure yet.
These new updated restrictions will start as of Friday 5th June.
12th May 2020 – GREENS OPEN FOR ROLL UPS (BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL)
Please see further information in letter and adverting poster.

25TH March 2020 – GREENS REMAIN CLOSED
Some of you may have seen or heard of a release from Clubs NSW regarding playing facilities for bowls and golf remaining open.
The Board of Management and Staff at The Point have made a decision to keep the greens closed (no roll ups etc) for the foreseeable future as a safe guard for our members. This is supported by Bowls NSW and Zone 13.
Please be advised there are no exceptions, the health and safety of our members is paramount as always, especially during these times.
Updates will continually be provided so everyone is aware of any changes that may occur.
Please stay safe.
CHARITY DAY 2020
Unfortunately due to COVID-19, the Taren Point Women’s Bowling Club regrets to inform our members and guests of the cancellation of this year’s Charity Day. We thank you for your support over the many years, raising much needed funds for a range of Charities. This event will be back in 2021 and we look forward to having you all involved once again.
