Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea a Wonderful Success
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea another fantastic community event at Taren Point Bowling Club.
With close to 90 people attending, we were thrilled to raise more than $2,300 through ticket sales, online donations and contributions from our generous patrons. Combined with beautiful weather and a great afternoon of bowls, it was a wonderful day from start to finish.
Events like this simply don’t happen without the support of our members and volunteers. Thank you to everyone who baked, helped set up the room, sold raffle tickets and supported the day in any way. The generosity and community spirit shown was truly heartwarming.
A special thank you must go to Janelle Craddock and Penny Morton, whose hard work, organisation and dedication behind the scenes played a huge role in the success of the event.
We would also like to thank Jenny Cater, former President of the Cancer Nurses Society of Australia, for sharing her knowledge and experience with our audience. Jenny’s insights into cancer care, support and research were both informative and inspiring, helping to remind us all why events like Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea are so important.
We were also incredibly grateful for the support of our prize donors, including Pago & Co, Katrina Wright Property Excellence, CUB, BMW, Poseidon’s Harvest Seafood, and Penny Morton. Your generosity helped boost our fundraising efforts and added to the excitement of the day.
Most importantly, every dollar raised will help support the vital work being done by the Cancer Council in research, prevention, and supporting Australians impacted by cancer.
Thank you once again to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered and supported the day. It’s moments like these that remind us what a special community we have here at Taren Point Bowling Club. Together, we are making a difference.
