This is conveniently located within the Club, yet completely partitioned to ensure your privacy. The Auditorium has a seating capacity of up to 140 guests for a seated dinner or up to 250 guests in a cocktail setting. We can provide staging & dance floor at an additional cost. We are happy to organise balloon hire, a small band, juke box hire, DJ hire or if you prefer, we can play music from your iPod, iPad or tablet directly into this area via our in-house system. A microphone is also available should you require it. You are welcome to organise your own decorations but please note that all independently arranged decorating must be approved by us due to legal and OH&S requirements.

The hire fee of $600 (incl GST) includes 4 hours of security which is a requirement under RSA and Council regulations. This fee may be reduced to $350 (incl GST) for 5 hours hire depending on the type of function, but this is at the Club’s discretion. If there are more than 100 guests, an extra security guard will be required at an additional cost.

A deposit of $100 plus any outside hire costs, is required within 5 working days after the booking is made to secure the room. Balance of room hire, full payment of catering and confirmed numbers is required 5 working days prior to your function. Dry till must be paid for at the conclusion of the function.

The Point is pleased to offer our venue for 21st Birthday celebrations, Engagements, Parties and Wedding Receptions.

A $1000 bond and a signed agreement is required, refundable no later than 14 days after the party with deductions made for damages and excessive breakages.

Regretfully, we are unable to cater for 18th Birthday parties.
